I'M MITCH
Mitch relocated to the beautiful Lake Macquarie area in late 2021 with his wife and young family and opened Rovers Automotive in late 2022. Mitch is committed to providing his local community a trustworthy, reliable and reasonably priced specialist service. Mitch will diagnose the faults within your vehicle but give you options in terms of avenues to suit your own personal situation. He believes in being honest and communicating with his clients openly.
Rovers Automotive is owned and operated by Mitch Dawson, a local family man with 15 years of experience working on Land Rovers, Range Rovers & Jaguars.
Mitch started his Motor Mechanic Apprenticeship on Sydney’s Northern Beaches at Ayers Automotive, as a Land Rover specialist. During this time he was nominated and awarded NSW Apprentice of the year award 2011.
After 6 years at Ayers Automotive, Mitch traveled the world working for Land Rover in London, UK and Toronto, Canada. He then returned to Sydney, Australia and eventually became Workshop Controller for JLR Northern Beaches.
